The North Carolina Vegetation Management Association (NCVMA) was organized to unite those people interested in the management of vegetation in the state of North Carolina. Our desire is to be the source of vegetation management education for public and private interests, by providing the latest information on research, education, regulation, contracting, manufacturing and merchandising of management techniques.

Mr. Matt Lynch, age 60, of North Wilkesboro died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Mr. Cecil Wood, Mr. Luther Parks, and Mr. Danny Chapman officiating. Graveside service with Masonic Rites by North Wilkesboro Lodge 407 will be held Saturday, 2:00 PM at Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Pilot Mtn. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:30 until 8:30 Friday night.

Mr. Lynch was born in Forsyth County on May 9, 1953, to John P. and Ruby Johnson Lynch. He worked for Duke Energy for over 36 years. Mr. Lynch was a master mason of North Wilkesboro Masonic Lodge 407.

Mr. Lynch is survived by his wife, Paige Nester Lynch of the home; one daughter, Lauren Lynch Boyles and husband, David of Kernersville; one son, Shawn Lynch of North Wilkesboro; one brother, John Ray Lynch of Pilot Mtn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the the Educational Fund for his children.
